Training is excellent, however day to day needs a bit of work

Fraud Analyst (Current Employee) Montreal, QC (Canada)

ProsTraining is excellent, sometimes the trainer can be a bit excessive about policies however you do learn everything you need for the job. The building and work environment is quite nice and clean and friendly staff for the most part.

ConsBreaks and lunches are too strict, and schedule needs a bit of work. Too much time is focused on whether you are at work and not enough is spent looking at the work you perform.

Advice to Senior ManagementLook at the work of employees rather than the disciplinary actions you can take against them. Sometimes a longer break is necessary, emergencies do happen.

    Some Pros and Cons

Fraud Agent (Former Employee) Montreal, QC (Canada)

ProsSalary, Works well if your part time, benefits, possibility to move up within the company.

ConsHorrible hours, Scheduling on a flex Schedule makes no sense. Will not allow one to trade shifts as needed to make schedule tolerable and still cover all the hours for business needs.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop trying to micromanage everyone.

    RBC Leasing Manager

Manager (Former Employee) Montreal, QC (Canada)

ProsExcellent peer support, constant betterment programs available for the asking, better than average job security (despite what is currently in the news!) Company employs 85 000 worldwide. Career change is available to those who seek it. Open channel communication to your direct manager and their seniors.

ConsSlow to change, even when bugs are apparent. Very big organization and that means that there are many demands from different areas, and meeting them all is a challenge.

Advice to Senior ManagementListen to employees who embrace change well, an don't listen to employees who are never satisfied.

Great Benefits, Pay for Performance mentality

Account Manager (Current Employee) Montreal, QC (Canada)

ProsGreat benefits, good advancement opportunities. For Account Managers you're performance is rated based on your sales, so there's a lot of pressure but I've never had any problems.

ConsThere is a lot of favoritism and a lot of cliques. Managers advance people based on this, and hold other people back.

Advice to Senior ManagementMake sure the managers you're hiring have actually done the job of the people they're managing. So many managers are completely disconnected from their employees.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
