I have been working at Royal Bank of Scotland full-time

    Pros

No pros except now it is closing in Asia and employees are going to get paid out. Run by mediocre people (mainly) even avg. staff end up looking good. It does pay well, to be honest but that is about it.

    Cons

Many - take my word for it. Do not join as I have been with them for many years. It is a complet racist org and basically for people from UK. Run by hill billies and wanna-be.

    Advice to Management

Take some management courses and learn how to not be inward looking and racist. A complete UK based org now with hill billies running it. Third class org. Use to b a lot better few years ago!

    Pros

Good work life balance. Near to train station.

    Cons

All employees working at RBS, Stamford CT, DO Not escalated assault or harrasment accusation against the Directors. Employee relations Team will frame you and fire you. They do not care who is right or wrong. All they favor is high up people. Plus the operation department is a joke. MD hires his friends from across the street and let them run their monkey business. It's a joke! People with lack of professionalism and caliber are assigned as the leader and manager on duty. Waste of resources and Money.

    Advice to Management

Be more professional and accountable to your employees.

    Pros

Good work culture. Laid back, almost too laid back. No real dress attire. Nice office. Good people all around.

    Cons

Declining business. High attrition. Management doesn't do a great job communicating job security in the middle of restructuring.
