Friendly Environment, Good Place To Work

Fund Accountant (Current Employee) Rockville, MD

ProsGood place to start a career in finance and investments. Pay is not great but you get really good benefits and plenty of time off. You stay busy in the morning and afternoon but there are several hours of downtime mid-day.

ConsFund Accounting is very monotonous. Same thing everyday.

Advice to Senior ManagementNo complaints here.

Kafka would feel at home here....

    Investment Manager (Former Employee)

ProsLots of autonomy and encouraged to research new services and products, direction and objectives of company is very transparent and you always know the firm's goals and how they expect to get there.

ConsManagement is very incestuous - almost as if they are suspect of anyone who knows more than they do. The atmosphere is more akin to a fraternity than a professional financial firm - if you are in you are golden despite your work product. I felt like I was the ugly step-sister even though my performance was of higher quality than most of my colleagues.

Advice to Senior ManagementSome of your leadership has overstayed their welcome - maybe because they could not land a quality job elsewhere?

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
