    Pros

Great starting pay. No weekends, unless told to do so 5 days in advance.

    Cons

It seemed like they only cared about production. I understand that to a point, but when you don't care about your employees health that's another thing. The manager Larry, was extremely nice at first, but then as soon as your on the floor it's as if he could care less about you. I didn't feel comfortable working there after he gave me the whole production talk about if I don't make a certain amount of lines by a certain time they would let me go. Employees there are dispensable, withing a month of working there 3 people were fired.

    Advice to Management

Care about our employees more. They are not machines, they are people who have feelings and needs.

    Pros

The employees are awesome! There are some really good professionals here and the environment can be a fun place to work. The salary and benefits are good and the company is growing and prospering.

    Cons

There's a lack of planning and communication causing disorganization. Managers tend to micromanage including upper management. There's not much trust shown below the managerial level. Good employee suggestions tend to ring over deaf ears. At times, the company can be "cheap" on acquiring needed resources.

    Advice to Management

Treat employees as valued business partners. Try to make things easier for them instead of harder. Learn to trust, respect, and communicate with them. Treat them as valued professionals and not as children. Invest in needed resources to get the job done.

    Pros

They are very accommodating when it comes to scheduling around school hours. Decent place for a high school or college student but forget about making a career out of this place.

    Cons

Repetitive work that becomes very boring. There is a great deal of workplace gossip among the workers. There is no help provided from the other workers. Part-time employees get no benefits and they make sure to keep most people part-time. There's no such thing as scheduling a day off during the work week, it will result in points being assessed to your record. The pay could be a lot better.

    Advice to Management

Perhaps listen to feedback from the employees.

    Pros

There are a great deal of people who have worked for the company for a very long time, which says a lot about the company values. It's a tradition of trust and there are certainly strong ties to parent company: Genuine Parts Company. Great, competitive benefits. In recent years, there has been growth in the industry which is positive and has led to more promotions and/or job creation. Very much a team atmosphere in certain departments. Very stable.

    Cons

The company is conservative, which could sometimes lead to feeling stagnant. Although in recent years, there has been a greater interest on doing/trying things differently, the company is still run by older men whom have been in the industry for decades so sometimes little innovation or change. Expectations are high and compensation is only decent.

    Advice to Management

It would be nice to see new programs implemented to increase morale and to start doing things differently than industry. Would be helpful to know company strategy.

    Pros

Company has a good atmosphere for team workmanship. Stable company atmosphere. Enjoyed the people and would work there again.

    Cons

Company tends to put people into leadership roles that are not qualified or have the experience background to lead projects. The chaos that comes from that leads to frustration and personnel turnover, delay in project timelines and issues with over productivity.

    Pros

Good pay especially if you have been with the company before 2012. Good benifits and for the most part good people.

    Cons

Company prides themselves on being fair and consistent but there are several branches that are ran differently from a managerial POV or have different standards from a HR perspective.

    Advice to Management

Just because someone is sitting in a leather chair and they are good with numbers and sales does not mean they know one lick about how a warehouse should be ran. If you want to solve major issues start from top and work your way down and not the opposite. Look at the top performing branches. They have top notch GM's. Doesn't matter who's below them.
