I worked at SA full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

SA really treated their employees like family: Everyone went to bat for you. They really tried to make sure you felt like part of the company, even if you (like most) worked offsite at another location.

    Cons

Low pay, compared to other contractors. Not as many employee appreciation events like in years past, which created less comeraderie between SA employees

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start reinvesting in your employees again!

    I worked at SA

    Pros

There is a desire to foster comraderie among SA employees that is commendable, though management's efforts to tailor those activities to the desires of the employees are largely hollow. Employees are SA's biggest asset.

    Cons

Partiality in personnel decision making often tends to favor personal or familial connections to the corporate 'inner circle' versus one's proven skills or abilities.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Efforts to engage employees should include plans for incorporation or resolution of feedback, lest they be perceived as hollow gestures.
