Pros
There was a good work environment and nice benefits. The managers worked well with being flexible. I enjoyed being a part of the team.
Cons
I think that some of the cons include low pay for some of the jobs that were available in the store.
Advice to Senior Management
Some good advice to the leadership at Sam's club may be to improve some of the procedures that were implemented.
Pros
Great pay! Free membership. Variety of products and items most always in stock. Seasonal items always new. Clean and organized. Customer service very polite.
Cons
No employee discounts. No personal training on department. Can mostly only buy in large bulk which sometimes costs more money than have at the time.
Pros
If you want enter the retail industry great insight
Cons
It was a little unorganized
Pros
Sams club is fast fun and a busy place to work with a lot of opportunity to move around if you get bored.
Cons
hard to get time off and communication between different segments is sometimes hard to work around.
Advice to Senior Management
More communication and ability to take time off.
Pros
The people you work with the fun you can have the advancement opportunities.Bonuses and good and you get paid holidays.
Cons
The hours, being understaffed and some of the management. Some of the members treat you like trash but most are really nice.
Advice to Senior Management
Look for the people that work hard and not the people that follow you around looking for advancement people who earn it should get the attention.
Pros
It is consistent work with job security if you can follow the rulea.
Cons
Hard to become full time if not hired fulltime already. Always more worried about the bottom line then the associates.
Advice to Senior Management
Pay more to long term employees. You will keep more of them that way.
Pros

Cons
Lack of communication with some of omanagement
Advice to Senior Management
More meetings
Pros
Great place to work. Clean, respectful, career advancement available without leaving the store. Open door policy great IF needed. They work with your specific needs. Its a real family type atmosphere. Pay is decent and management is terrific. We have the best GM around and all of our coaches are great. Our store is set up to make sure both of our customers and employees are taken care of.
Cons
Hours can be hectic around the holiday season. Our store isn't one of the bigger ones yet so we don't have some of the things like cafe, gas etc. Our memberships that we used to get taken out of the paycheck deductions went away. So if you didn't have a membership on your own you will have to get one.
Advice to Senior Management
Keep up the terrific work. Our store is a great one that I know personally I am proud to be a part of. What are they going to do as far as possibly giving us a discount at walmart or something for loosing the payroll deduct memberships?
Pros
You are empowered to do your job
Cons
Micro Manager look for too many wrongs and not enough right. Tell employees the right way to do things in advance instead of waiting for them to make a mistake
Advice to Senior Management
Look for postive things and catch employees doing something right. I heard a lot of complaints that manager were always looking for something wrong and not enough right
Pros
Better wages, nice customers, nice managers,
Cons
Hours, hours , to much competition against the cashiers
