    Pros

The culture and environment is phenomenal.
Structured processes and development lifecycle designed to minimize work life imbalances.
Good place to gain expertise on SAP Technologies and a springboard to becoming an SAP Consultant (good $$).

    Cons

Mobile strategies are not long term. Multiple revisions to strategy every 6 months cause hindrances to streamlined implementation and execution of projects.
Learning is curbed in 1 aspect: Red Tape. It is difficult to move across roles and take on cross-functional responsibilities.

    Advice to Management

SAP is currently doing well as one of the leading providers of business software. However, the company needs to become more agile and run like a start up in some projects to spark innovation and continuous improvement.

    Negative Outlook

    Pros

1.SAP Global Delivery is an SAP subsidiary.
2.SAP products knowledge and is able to work with foreign SAP subsidiaries and helps oneself to understand their honesty, commitment and no non sense attitude towards work.
    3.Good exposure to different technologies.

    Cons

    Cons in case of Consultants
1.Consultants are branded as C Users and they are treated like slaves at the company. The companies internal employees are called I Users.
2.C Users are not provided an access card so they have to wait till an I-User/Security opens the door so they can go to their work place. Same in the case of rest rooms.
3.C Users are not allowed to have free food at SAP cafeteria like i users. They are provided separate food which is not at all better and is required to pay a huge sum for the same.
C Users are denied of SAP transportation even in the case of female consultants.
4.Even if they are the biggest contributors for a particular projects C Users not allowed to attend any project parties in the end and they are thrown off without any consideration.
5.C Users are not allowed to attend any type of office competitions or functions along with i Users of SAP.
Even at pantry juice packets and such are only allowed for I Users.

    Advice to Management

Management restructuring and try to adopt other SAP subsidiaries policies regarding the same.

    Pros

    Great work life balance.

In such cases, you may not feel very motivated, but there are options for internal transfers, and there is mostly no discrimination when it comes to that.
