Former Intern - Junior Consultant Logistics Department, Implementation Unit in Moscow (Russia)

I worked at SAP as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

The world is changing and so is technologies, SAP is transforming into a giant ERP provider that believes it can revolutionize business practices, moving into the cloud and creating lighter platforms. New technologies are inbuilt in the system making it easier to operate. Big name, big company, open for various possibilities to educate and develop talents internally, free certification in any chosen module.

    Cons

Sometimes the communication between departments is not clear enough and may jeopardise the success of the project. Main CIS office based in Moscow, requires many hours spent customising the system. Sometimes sales overestimate abilities of customisation, end users find it hard to work with the system and one has to get used to numerous complaints.

    Pros

SAP is a great place to work. There's vision, commitment and capacity to deliver some of the best application software in the world.

    Cons

SAP consists in more than 60.000 employees worldwide and it's not always easy to know and interact with all stakeholders.

    Advice to Management

There is now a much more clear and stronger idea of where SAP wants to go and it's definitely the way to go. Keep up the excellent work!

    Pros

Word leader in ERP sector. Worldwide company with good compensation package. Lots of opportunities inside and outside of the company. Professional growth.

    Cons

Sometimes it seems too big, too chalenging and too coplicated. Overloaded with information and don't have time to take all of the opportunities, I have.
