    A very challenging learning experience.

Staff Auditor (Former Employee) McLean, VA

ProsThe company encourages a work-life balance, and coworkers are very personable. It is very easy to get along with everyone in the company across all departments. The company trip each year is a very fun trip where everyone gets to relax.

ConsVery fast paced environment. Salaries are not adjusted for cost of living across offices. Employees are encouraged to cross sell services among departments, but are not given much training on how to do so.

    Great Company to work For

Intern (Current Employee) Sparks Glencoe, MD

    Pros- Don't get overworked
    - Small Company (Everyone is friendly and knows one another)
    - Many Service Lines

ConsNot as much room to grow as at a larger firm. Although some service lines may let you grow much faster than others.

Advice to Senior ManagementRon Causey is the man! The management staff as a whole is really nice!

    Good people. Boring, uniteresting engagements.

    Staff Consultant (Former Employee)

Pros1) Good company culture. SC&H Group has a company enviroment that is welcoming and inviting.
    2) SC&H offers an array of services.

Cons1) Poor training opportunities, particularly in Risk Management.
    2) Company does not promote from within. Everyone in management did not start with SC&H. They will tout Big 4 experience or corporate experience at every opportunity. Message that it sends to employees: GO TO BIG 4 TO BE TRAINED AND THEN CALL US LATER

Advice to Senior ManagementOffer better training opportunities.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
