Pros
Great benefits - they are a French company and understand taking care of employees is important. Lots of opportunity if you work hard although they are limited by Paris in terms of raises and promotions. Generous time off policy including 4 extra summer days off.
Cons
Too many. CEO Kessler likes conflict and encourages turf wars among senior mgmt. Way too many mergers in last several years. US Life operations was very poorly run but they cleaned house in the last merger so perhaps much better now.
Advice to Senior Management
Allow US operations to hire, promote and give raises without months of red tape in Paris. Kessler needs to learn his pro-conflict method create stress and uncertainty all the way down the ranks. Bad method!
Pros
The salary was above average for the position
Cons
Long hours, management expects you to do your job and other departments, very unappreciative of the work you do.
Advice to Senior Management
Show appreciation for the people that are there doing the job.
Pros
It is a relxing place to work; not very stressful.
Cons
There is a lack of organization and the pay seems to be sub-par.
Advice to Senior Management
They need to get more organized and plan things together.
