    Good if you're desperate

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsThey're willing to hire anyone and train them to do the job. For most high school students or those looking for a first job, this is one of the few options available

ConsFrequently understaffed, low wages and insufficient training. No really education happens, we just plop the kids in front of a computer and let them do their thing.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Not the best, not the worst.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsLots of room for professional development; Great interfacing with families and product; Learned to soft sell and hard sell in an environment that was almost impossible to ruin. Direct to client sales skills development. Fun to work with lots of young people.

ConsNo career path; Not a lot of guidance from senior management on what constituted a "good experience"; over emphasis on revenue without emphasis on training or product knowledge. Cash became king, and employees were driven to do whatever it took, which clearly hurt clint relationships.

Advice to Senior ManagementInvesting in high value, high cost, high quality people and paying them what they were worth would have helped float the company.

    Okay

    Tutor (Current Employee) Milpitas, CA

ProsIf you wanted to be a teacher, then it's a great place to work. You get a lot of interaction with kids. Learn how to manage time with kids

ConsThere isn't much opportunity for growth in the company that is offered to its tutors. Its just tutoring. That's pretty much it.

    ProsLively and encouraging environment
    Always moving, on the go
    Fun working atmosphere
    Fast paced
    Awards given to overachievers
    Team oriented job

ConsSometimes became a daycare center rather than a place of learning
    Underpaid
