    Pros

    Great work environment
    Friendly QA Team
Lots of talented and great people

    Cons

    Pay too low
    Mediocre perks
    QA were temps
    Career Opportunities were non existant

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Invest in your employees, marketing and prepare for the mobile future by making the experience seamless.

Among other things give the community what they want, great games from Japan and the willingness to take chances on new IP's whether they are on platform or mobile.

I worked at SEGA full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Great entry into the video game industry and a good résumé building entry from a recognizable brand name.

    Cons

Terrible hours (6-3 or 3-11), soul-crushing monotony, scattershot competency in team leads, and just generally an unpleasant work environment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have people regularly shift projects to avoid monotony and over-familiarity (a bad thing when big testing), invest in more vid capture devices, and brighten up the workspace.

I worked at SEGA as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

Good way of getting into the industry, you meet a lot of nice people.

    Cons

I had worked in another QA office before and was surprised with how they treated their employees. The fact that there was a point system where you got a point for being just one minute late to work or for not tying up your equipment properly at the end of the day was shocking. QA testers are people too.
On top of this the salary is as bad as it can get.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your staff like people, not slaves.
