    I worked at SEOP full-time

    Pros

This is a company that offers a lot of opportunity and has a friendly corporate culture.

    Cons

SEO can be a tough industry, simply because it changes so often.

    Pros

upper management is non existent so it's basically you left alone, figuring out how to best service your clients. Many previous employees have to left to start their own agencies, SEOP is a great training ground for entrepreneur mind sets. It can be as easy or as difficult as you want it to be, you have leeway to leave and come as you want and don't be surprised by the lack of professionalism; it's run by young guys and it's very much what you would expect. You have the freedom to expand your skills and grow and learn about the newest trends in digital marketing, just beware of the sales team.

    Cons

The way they sell their services, is not based on capabilities, it's very much whatever the client wants, they can do. Sounds like a good business model, but not when you're often not given the tools to succeed to please your client. Word of advice always be straight up with your clients.

    Advice to Management

care about your employees, clients or you're setting yourself for many competitors.

I worked at SEOP full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Not much I can think of

    Cons

management is clueless, bad reputation with clients, products don't work and never completed on time- just interested in taking clients money. Most calls coming in are complaints. Management doesn't care about employees no matter what they tell everyone Office is a rat hole and embarrassing They outsource most work to their Philippines team which is also clueless

    Advice to Management

fire yourselves and hire real managers

No room for growth. Favoritism CEO is non approachable even though you work so closely. Non flexible work hours All they hire is people who are on drugs or ex cons

    Advice to Management

I have been working at SEOP full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

As a parent and student, I truly value the flexibility provided by the job. Working in operations, we operate as a real team, and thus we help and assist each other which allows you to be successful. Open-door policy of management.

    Cons

With the aforementioned job flexibility comes the responsibility of self-managing your time and workflow appropriately. Fellow employees who do not responsibility manage themselves nearly always fail, and are no longer with the company. Office is a bit dated and the layout is rather odd, but to be fair that is a facility issue and not a company issue.

    Advice to Management

Office needs a revamp. Management needs to work reach out to the employees and do some team building since we're all so entrenched in our work.

    Pros

    - Strong base of employees whom really like what they do and are always supportive of each other. - A management team that is always will to help their employees in a time of need. - Knowledge of the marketing industry and what is happening within the world of Search is second-to-none. - Perhaps the most loyal staff I've ever worked with.

    Cons

    - The company is too sales oriented -- not every sale is a good sale. - The office needs some improvements. A work space to be proud of speaks highly of the staff and the company. - The amount of staff-to-client ratio could be improved.

    Advice to Management

Share the wealth with the employees. While SEOP is strong, the products offered need to be more thoroughly thought out with truly achievable goals associated. Improvement of the office space will greatly improve employee morale and offer an opportunity to be client facing.
