Interesting and well worth it if you want to understand the music business.

ProsVery helpful and supportive staff. Interesting clients and no day is ever boring. Many different networking events. Middle management is very nice.

Consdisorganized and a bit disjointed. Clients can be unfriendly at times but, that is the nature of the music business. The office was very cramped.

Great place to begin your music industry career.

    Director (Former Employee)
    Nashville, TN

ProsGenerally a positive attitude among management and staff.

ConsRegarding SESAC's headquarters in Nashville, be aware that while the cost of living is lower in the South, so are salaries.

Advice to Senior ManagementAs SESAC's business involves issuing licenses to use music, collecting license fees and and distributing royalties to music publishers and songwriters, the company must have excellent IT leadership, equipment and staff. The company has never had adequate IT leadership or knowledge and it continues to suffer from this fault.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
