    Pros

Low turn-over rate. Good colleagues. Many knowledgeable and experienced people work here. Many perks, such as very nice safety gifts and Christmas gifts.

    Cons

There is no such thing as an annual raise for exempt employees...not for merit, not for cost of living, not for anything. The company has claimed they couldn't afford to give raises 8 of the last 10 years.

    Pros

Great Benefits and Pay. Overtime opportunities and many chances to bid on other jobs that may be of interest to you. Union owned.

    Cons

Very hard and dangerous work. You get extremely dirty and have to shower before going home. Some jobs are so dangerous that people have lost their lives in the past. The carbon dust poses a health hazard.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have better training and give new employees more of a chance to learn the jobs.

Former Employee - CAD Modeling Intern in Meitingen (Germany)

    Pros

Good supervisors, willing to guide interns. Easy access to supervisors and managers, partially due to the open office. The building (Research Center in Meitingen) is new and nice to work in as well.

    Cons

I wasn't exposed to a lot of other groups. There are a lot of different groups at the center working on varying different stuff, I was only able to work with the group I was assigned to.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give ability to interns to have more exposure to other groups in terms of work and collaboration.

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee in Shanghai, Shanghai (China)

    Pros

There is an open field of opportunities if you are willing to readily relocate to exotic places to work and build experience.

    Cons

There is little opportunity for promotion from within above middle level management. Top jobs go to extermal candidates in most cases.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give a chance to some internal candidates for top jobs to mix with the hired guns you bring in from outside. It will help you keep the best performers and improve your business.

Colleagues are pretty helpful, compensation and benefit packahe is comparative with the market.

    Cons

Certain top management lacks leadership skills dealing with senior managers.
