    Decided to leave

    Lab Technician (Former Employee)

ProsHours, pay ok (not completely satisfied), customer interaction

ConsManagement, attitude, skill level/competency of co-workers, QA issues

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't cut hours of your better employees and keep those due to personal treatment. It's weird to be hiring new salaried staff when you don't need their services. QA also needs a little more enforcing within the company.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Great Company

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsGood leadership, will work with your schedule. Thats all I have to say about that. This twenty word minimum really has to go.

ConsLow pay. If they would increase the pay the job would be perfect and really worth staying for a very long while.

    Frustrating and pointless

    Instrumentation Specialist (Former Employee)
    Lincolnshire, IL

ProsAn excellent example of a dysfunctional company. Individual departments are working against each other.
    A paycheck (small, but consistent)
    Free mediocre coffee
    Flexible scheduling

ConsDuplicitous management. I understand the difference between not having access to information because of seniority and being actively lied to.
Not opportunity for growth or advancement.
    No communication from management.
    Unreliable communication from management.
    Low pay and no bonuses.

Advice to Senior ManagementRe-evaluate your management processes and training. Your middle managers are destroying the morale and productivity of their staff.

Get OUT!! Run as fast as you can ...

    Laboratory Technician (Former Employee)
    Deer Park, TX

ProsGated parking lot and large restrooms.

ConsNo bonuses. No pay raise in last 5 years. People are quitting like crazy. At one point there wasnt enough staff to cover the shifts. Very high turn-over. By the time you finish training someone they are sick of the way the company and managers treat them and they quit. They do not keep anything private. You will find out who gets fired or written up 2-3 days in advance!!! There is too much mess, backstabbing, gossip, and trouble. Don't get me started on the amount of accidents that have occurred and the integrity of the results reported. If you do decide to work here make sure you ask exactly for the money you want or x5 more, because you will get it because no one wants to work here. They hire people with no experience because no one is willing to work here or stay long enough before they have time to fill another position. Doesn't matter how much you get paid you not be able to endure the way things work around here. Someone threaten to come to work and blow up the facility because he was too stressed about the job. Everyone was scared!!

Advice to Senior ManagementGive Raises. Make employees feel appreciated and maybe the turn over will not be so high. Fire the assistant managers and maybe people will be a little Happier. Also, teach the managers how to talk to the employees, stop being rude, and spreading mess around the workplace.
