    Pros

Some nice people, some smart people, fairly flexible work environment.

    Cons

There's No clear cut direction or vision from upper management. Even when some upper management was let go a couple years back, things still didn't improve, so the dysfunction must have been coming from someplace else. Seemed like priorities and approaches changed monthly. Also, they put all their eggs in one basket - losing their main client may mean the end of the road for the entire company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Cut your losses and move on....

    Pros

Good physical office environment with typical perks, flexability with work schedules, decent benefits including paid time off and health care options.

    Cons

Poor internal dynamics and team synergy. No focus on sustainability, business roadmap or infrastructure. Lacking quality leadership in several departments which proves very detrimental.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make sound business decisions, hire and retain a better management structure.

I worked at SIGMA Marketing Insights full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

There used to be a great group of smart people which made it a collaborative and interesting place to work.

    Cons

Most of the smart people with integrity have left because of very poor leadership and lack of a vision for the company. Others were let go because they were not "followers" of the leadership team's poor decisions. The current CEO is in WAY over his head. He has never run a company before (except for his own 3 person company for a short time). If you agree with everything he says and are willing to just smile and nod...you can be in favor and rewarded..but you should watch your back because it prob won't last. A LOT of politics going on for a small organization.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Advice to the Board is "fire sale"! Or - if that's not an option - bring in an entirely new management team - one that is QUALIFIED and has experience in SIGMA's business.

    Pros

Good work/life balance with positive cultural changes. They care about the employees and are making changes to make it a more open environment.

    Cons

No opportunities for advancement and are still operating on technology from the 90's. They need a complete overhaul to compete in the current marketplace

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on where the company is going instead of playing catch up.
