I worked at SIMOS Insourcing Solutions full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Long hours, great people to work with

    Cons

Some supervisors abuse authority, sometimes mess up checks

    Advice to Management

If the requirement to be apart of management is a college degree, only hire candidates who possess one.

I worked at SIMOS Insourcing Solutions full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Willing to give untried talent a chance. Interaction with and exposure to management from major retailer. Not much else to report.

    Cons

Squeezes management and employees alike. Mandates unnecessary additional hours for management so the retailer/customer "feels he's getting his money's worth." Very much a dog-and-pony-show operation. Definite preferential treatment given to male members of management at all levels.

    Advice to Management

Hire quality people and treat them well. Be genuine with your supervisors and managers whenever possible. Name-dropping by the CEO is tacky and really doesn't impress people.

    Pros

Work as much as you want. Flexible with call-ins. Pay is accurate mostly.

    Cons

Management is rude, reluctant to work with employees and talks down on people under them. Not receptive to payroll issues.

    Advice to Management

Be more open. Be more willing to help. Stop looking down on people.

I worked at SIMOS Insourcing Solutions full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Co workers are amazing, break their backs to get job done, come in early, stay late, work weekends

    Cons

Upper management treat staff like absolute trash, always flying off the handle, always threatening to fire staff. Then management turns around, and gives gifts or lunch to staff for being so nasty. Never ending cycle.

    Advice to Management

Stop being so disgusting to your staff. They are the most loyal people to you.

    Pros

Have worked with them about a year. Good people wanting to put reliable people to work.

    Cons

With this company, it is only a job not a career. No ability to move up and their health insurance is very expensive

I worked at SIMOS Insourcing Solutions part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Steady work, friendly atmosphere. supervisors are understanding and professional.

    Cons

I think although professional the supervisors and staff seem to forget that there is that human element that seems to be overlooked on a constant basis. In the event an injury should happen the employee should be taken care of no matter who may be at fault. the last thing that should happen should is the termination of the employee.

    Advice to Management

Care more about the employee than the numbers.

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at SIMOS Insourcing Solutions full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Can get you to work quickly but don't expect a lot of hours. Drug test are done in office so even if you fail the drug test they will pass you because they are desperate to get people to work in their warehouse.

    Cons

Low pay (they will tell you that you can earn incentive pay up but you never get the incentive pay because you are sent home early all the time ) BIG CON GAME!!!!! Management and office staff never can tell you how many hours you worked and give you the run around if you tell them your hours are wrong. If you call and leave a message no one returns your call.

    Advice to Management

Quit hiring new people if you cant even give the people that are currently working fulltime hour. They will not give you any information about benefits even though they say they offer this to employees. Office staff is always rude and not helpful Constantly told by office that they only hire you and to talk to Supervisor. Then you go to Supervisor and they tell you to go to the office. Stop giving people the run around.
