    Pros

    The best part of being graduate assistant is being able to have close relationship with faculty members. Also, If you serve as a graduate assistant, the school covers your tuition fee.

    Cons

    Professors might give some much paper work during exam weeks.

    Flexible hours while attended classes full time. Great working experience and helps with resume/ interviews.

    Depending on budget cuts, hours can be minimal which means little money some semesters

    I can't think of anything positive about SIUE. It has gone down hill

    Racist Administration. HR is very corupt
