    Pros

    like a typical PSU not much work,chill max environment,good pay,good work life balance

    Cons

    No scope for personal growth, bureaucratic,not much responsibility given to youth, company still runs on paper,Shimla & delhi are the only two good locations if you get placed at some other location you are basically doomed

    Advice to Management

    Give more responsibility to youth, get out of red tape

    I have been working at SJVN full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    SJVN has very bright future. This company have one running project (Nathpa Jhakri 1500MW HEP) and 15 projects in construction and investigation stages in India and out of India. now company is going for thermal power projects in bihar. company also going for Solar and wind projects. so it is a complete power company which generates electricity.

    Cons

    There is nos. of HEP projects in SJVN all are in remote areas or in difficult terrain.

    Its an upgrownig company and in the coming time it will proved to b a milestone in the power sector.

    Most working sites are in remote areas..

    Advice to Management

    Tranfer policies should b followed according.. extra benefits and perks should b given to the employee working in non family stations .
