Opportunity to learn about business culture in S. Korea. Company is aware of American culture and works within those boundaries in the US.

Cons

Females are not expected to have management positions, therefore anyone in this type position has a serious company culture barrier to overcome.

Advice to Senior Management

Follow through on the commitments to communication within the corporation. During my tenure with the company, this was discuseed, but treated as an inconsequential problem.

Pros

The money, the benefits, the ability to sleep on the job for some employees

Cons

Rotating work schedule every 2 weeks is stupid, how do they expect people to recover going from days to nights and still maintain sanity and the ability to excell in their job? People sleep on the job, lay out, get sick. Promotion is for friends and the popular, not the most skilled.

Advice to Senior Management

Stop promoting people who look out only for themselves and their friends and think about what is best for the company. Stop racial discrimination and being so afraid to stand up for what is right.
