Former Employee - Machine Operator Level Five in Flowery Branch, GA

    Pros

Salaried employees are compensated time and a half for working over time. Excellent company benefits. Variety of health plans to choose from. Two weeks vacation after first year, three weeks after five years, four weeks after ten years. Two week shut down in July. Christmas shut down is around nine days. Holiday pay for all major holidays.

    Cons

Job training lacks structure. Mandatory over time can make for long days and weeks. Subject to be laid off when economy slows. I was laid off three times in eleven years.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Add more structure to training. Give longer breaks.

    Pros

Benefits. They have good benefits like most big companies.

    Cons

Mismanagement. Prepare yourself for micromanagement hell. Prepare yourself to have secretaries in other states telling you that you and the customer are wrong.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Fix your micromanagement problem. Let area managers manage and team members work without being hassled all day by ladies who have no idea what they are talking about.
