    Pros

Used to be the environment, people and even management.

    Cons

Everything is bad about this place now. Not a good environment at all. People come and go now more than ever due to the high turn over.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The entire division that sos falls under needs to have a whole new line of competent management as brainwashing is not the way to go.

    I worked at SOS Metals

    Pros

Most of the people who work in the shop are doing a good job. Most middle managers are committed to doing a good job.

    Cons

Excom Management is disconnected from the operations of the company and are being influenced by senior executives who have no commitment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Leave, work is only a "hobby". The senior leadership is not really committed or serious and the new Japanese management is misguided.

Owners lack modern management skills (very old school).

    I worked at SOS Metals

    Pros

People often set their own schedules and hardly anyone works more than 8 hours a day if that.
There are lots of opportunities to socialize and gossip.

    Cons

Lack of communication to the point of being secretive.
Owners travel extensively for pleasure and are absent a great deal of the time.

    No opinion of CEO
