Pros
Best reasons to work at SourceCorp are paid vacation, medical insurance, optional dental insurance, optional vision insurance, and 401K.
Cons
The downside to working at SourceCorp is the pay. You only make minimum wage which is 7.25 an hour as your base pay. You do get piece rate but the piece rate rates aren't very high.
Advice to Senior Management
Pay your employees more money and pay more on their health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and the employees 401k.
Pros
Flexibility. Decent salary. Good quality co-workers.
Cons
Incompetent management. No long term planning. Favoritism.
Advice to Senior Management
They have to treat their employees like human beings rather than numbers. They have to learn forecasting techniques rather than creating the huge employee turnover they have there. This is in reference to the Tax Benefits Group in Fort Worth.
Pros
Sourcecorp provides opportunities for advancement and stable employment. While production employees don't typically get involved in much more than their job, they are always welcome to be more involved.
Cons
Overall the work can be a bit repetitive, if you can type you can make some great money while you're listening to your music. Where is the match on the 401k - you're going to lose valuable employees without the matching contributions.
Advice to Senior Management
Re-evaluate the pay for performance to make sure that all projects are included. While a great many projects have PFP, the ones that don't really would benefit.
Pros
They have a good benefits program.
Cons
There is little or no training about how to use their proprietary systems and applications.
Advice to Senior Management
Don't just look at numbers on a spreadsheet when evaluating an employee, but look at the complexity of the task that the employee has to do.
Pros
if you want to sit at a desk all day and not talk to anyone and just type then thats the job for u!
Cons
you just sit there and dont call in u get no warnings u just get fired thats what they do! they dont care how much snow or about family all they know is they want u there no matter what! not the job for me i wasnt willing to risk my life for that place and they pay isnt that great!
Pros
They WILL hire you. The supervisors are all very nice and reasonable. Good health benefits are available after three months. Production bonuses are offered (though most people are unable to achieve them). The dress code is very casual, and all entry level positions allow for headphones to be worn during the entire shift.
Cons
The pay is low, its minimum, more or less. (You must keep in mind that work is outsourced TO this facility.)
Socializing is strongly discouraged. The work is extraordinarily repetitive. If you have a car, parking is available, but inconvenient. However, cars are out of most employees' price ranges.
Advice to Senior Management
Invest in more competent trainers and project leads.
