I have been working at SPAR (UK) part-time

    Pros

Thoroughly enjoy the people I work with. The management is very good and if any problems arise, they will address them as quickly as possible and listen to any issues you have. Very hygienic and well kept shop.

    Cons

Sometimes lack of direction as people are sometimes confused in what they are doing and do not know exactly what to do.

    Advice to Management

More training needs to be advised for things such as the Post Office which is now in place after hours when the main post office closes at 5.30p.m. More clarity on what exactly needs to be done in order for the employees to know exactly what they must do to ensure all roles and responsibilities are fulfilled effectively.

I have been working at SPAR (UK) part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Everyday is different. Many customers have become good friends and I know I will have lifelong friendships with everyone I work with. We all work as a team thdre to help our customers and each other.

    Cons

The uniforms are horrid :). Like most places you will get the odd bad customer who tends to put everyone working in a bad mood until someone cracks a joke.

    Advice to Management

Please look into changing the uniform. The tops ( including the supervisor shirts ) especially they are horrible to wear. They're too short, the material whilst great for easy cleaning, is not the best for hot weather and the sizing is off everyone has to go up a size.
