    Pros

    Great hours and friendly employees.

    Cons

To many people with the power to inspect you at anytime.

    Advice to Management

    Better health insurance options.

    Pros

Pay rate is good, but has attachments and hidden agendas that aren't revealed until you accept the position.

    Cons

Work balance doesn't exist, inexperienced "so-called" supervisors and middle management. Inappropriate policies for company losses. Poor/ inadequate communication with management team. Theory of "threatening employees bonuses, making employees pay back losses at a specific amount, is not a forward thinking company"

    Advice to Management

The advice is to take the advice. Which does not take place.

I worked at SPINX Company full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great learning situation that will enable you to get a higher paying job somewhere else. Fellow employees are great. 50 hr work weeks. Not salary.

    Cons

Upper management out of touch with what actually needs to go on in the stores. Low pay for work expected

    Advice to Management

Trust your people. Make your policies based on reality.

I worked at SPINX Company full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Insurance, room for improvement

    Cons

Too many cheifs and not enough Indians. Upper Management not on same page results in store level management not knowing which way to go.

    Advice to Management

Conduct visits together so the left hand knows what the right hand I doing... DM get on same page with Deli DM and marketing as well as others who do store walks and figure out what yall want together. Figure out who's in charge everybody can't have an opinion all the time.

  6. I actually look forward to going into work; it doesn't feel like a job, I see it as taking care of my baby.

    Pros

Great hours, room for advancement (if one is willing to work for it), benefits and ability to learn new skills.

    Cons

It's extremely fast paced and long hours with a lot of responsibility; time given to eat and better pay would be nice.

    Advice to Management

Please pay better (higher raises, bonuses for those deserving). A lot of work for little pay. Also a break to fuel our needed energy for the tasks at hand. Working 8 hour shifts with no time to eat is taxing.

    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at SPINX Company full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Salary, Vacations and benefits.

    Cons

Very negative attitude and management by fear. Lots of hours, early morning hours. Leadership. The company tries to run the food service like a retail store and its very different. Budgets keep decreasing and expectations keeps rising,

    Advice to Management

Don't forget the core of the business. The store staff is the heart that pays the Executive staff. Stop leading by fear.

I have been working at SPINX Company part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible schedule Decent hours if you work hard Easy job once you get the basics down

    Cons

Hard to advance unless you want to work 3rd shift for a year No full time except third shift and management Amount of hours part timers can get constantly lowered Your treatment depends on the type of manager you get

    Advice to Management

Your parttimers are the life of your company Treat them better. Give them more opportunities to advance.

    Pros

They give a good amount of hours and are flexible with college schedules and the coworkers are good for the most part.

    Cons

Bad management in the majority of stores. If you're a CSR don't even bother contacting upper management because the managers can do no wrong at this company.

I have been working at SPINX Company full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It's a fun work environment; especially meeting different people from all walks of life. If you're serious about the job, getting a promotion is a piece of cake. Started off as a csr, 4 months later, I'm training to be assistant manager. Leave your feelings at home and go to work, TO WORK, then everything should be fine.

    Cons

No chairs to sit for a little break. Have to share one chair with staff...lol. And I think the pos systems need an update. Especially regarding those fuel perks.

    Advice to Management

    Motivate, motivate, motivate!
