I have been working at SPi Healthcare full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Management and coworkers are supportive and encouraging. We are given opportunities to use our skills and grow professionally. We share ideas to find the best solutions to problems and help out anyone who is struggling. We take time to get to know each other and laugh to keep our spirits and work energy up.

    Cons

Time off for holidays is very limited--just the actual holiday--we don't get the days before Christmas and New Year's and the days after Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year's off--people are less likely to be as productive on these days anyway so... Pay scales are too low. Mandatory deductions for STD & LTD--should be voluntary. Sick days not taken should be used as an incentive to work by giving an option of a restricted payout if not used. 401k employer match could be higher.

I have been working at SPi Healthcare full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Love being able to work independently and listen to music all day. Company hires and promotes from within which is great.

    Cons

Pay scale isn't the greatest, but the benefit time makes up for it. Pretty boring work, but it is an office after all.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the good work, but do reviews and raises more than every couple years. Stay involved in the day to day activities as you currently are.

I have been working at SPi Healthcare

    Pros

    - They don't try to cheat you out of pay which other companies do try.
    - I've always been treated fairly there.
    - The HR department is excellent.

    Cons

They are on the low end of salaries for security companies in the area.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Increasing salaries and/or performance based raises would go a long way toward getting and retaining good guards. Increase or do spot checks on overnight shifts.

    I worked at SPi Healthcare

    Pros

The pay and benefits were very nice. They also offered flex time and were very flexible about work/life situations.

    Cons

A very shady back room setting in a sense of who got prompted. Definitely special treatment for those who are well connected with in the company

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn to understand the personal side of people and not be about the bottom line

I have been working at SPi Healthcare

    Pros

The pay is competitive in the area. There are some great leaders and people that work there to work with. There is an opportunity for transfer and growth. The company is expanding- so even more growth is anticipated.

    Cons

i don't feel that the employees are valued as much as they should be. Though recognition is not unheard of, it has decreased versus increased. The Share employee incentive program is not being actively utilized to reward employees for exemplary service.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay attention to the concerns of the staff. Company -wide success/ update meetings would be welcomed.
