Current Employee – been working at ST. MARK'S PLACE INSTITUTE FOR MENTAL HEALTH part-time for more than 3 years
Pros – St. Mark's Place has created a wonderfully warm and family-like environment that truly cares about their patients and the success of their staff. I spent almost four-year there and received excellent supervision under former clinical director, Peter Turco. The executive staff has an open door policy and is always willing to put aside their work to assist you on a case or help you manage your paperwork.
Cons – For those that complain about low pay, St. Mark's Place actually pays a higher rate than most other fee-for-service clinics. If you do your work (daily progress notes, treatment plans etc.) you DO get paid. And, if their is an error, the friendly staff is always available to help you work out any discrepancies.
Advice to Senior Management – Keep up the great work! And, thank you for the invaluable training experience.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Current Employee – been working at ST. MARK'S PLACE INSTITUTE FOR MENTAL HEALTH
Pros – Great to complete your hours for licensing. Very little oversight. Most patients are truly looking for help.
Cons – No meaningful or helpful supervision. As supervisors don't get paid for their time, they don't put any effort into helping their supervises. Employees have to scrutinize their paycheck and reconcile against hours worked to fight for proper compensation. There is a culture of secrecy and Polish employees are treated favorably.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
