    Pros

    People in the technology department are open to sharing knowledge. Work-life balance is good.

    Cons

    Pay structure is not balanced, depend on the how is the company doing during the year that you joined.

    Advice to Management

    Minimize gaps in salary structure.

    I worked at STATS ChipPAC full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Every one is trained to be a good fire fighter. If one xan survive here, confirm can survive anywhere.

    Cons

    Management totally lost direction. Only one thing in their mind which is cut cost. Not a single cent spent for improvement and thus the capability is moving south.

    Advice to Management

    Need to learn more in term of ROI

    I worked at STATS ChipPAC (More than a year)

    Pros

    1. learn about new technology 2. Yishun plant is near to woodland whereby easy access for Malaysian can go back Malaysia 3. Basic pay is good

    Cons

    1. Old staff keep saying this company not good, bad. Basically they worried about new staff join when take over their job, thus not a friendly environment 2. Organization keep changes 3. Long working hours for industrial engineer as 1 week of month need to stay in office till 11-12am 4. Low bonus

    Advice to Management

    Since it sell to China semiconductor, i guess the environment will keep stress down. Thus, advise people them to find a new job is the best solution

    Pros

    (1) simple routine job (2) No responsibility, anything can cover

    Cons

    (1) No direction. Your boss also don't know what is going on. No one train you. Just throw you into the line, and require you to get output. (2) Cover the issue with stories. (3) Full of office politics, waste time (4) Hardworking is nothing.Talking is more valuable, and mass-up need to be cleaned by hardworking man.

    Pros

    Owned by Temasek hldgs (govt). The 4th largest semicon packaging & testing plant in the world with branches in Singapore, China, Korea and Taiwan.

    Cons

    Run by very unprofessional, biased mgmt team where shouting, threatening & blackmailing is the order of the day. Apple polishers will do well here, but not the real performers.

    Advice to Management

    Directors/HODs need to be replaced for company to move forward.

    Pending sold-out, responsibility and job scope base on your understanding

    Cons

    Poor management at middle management, non- professional, no hands-on, poor HR, too many long due to clearing annual leave weekend

    Good Colleagues, Opportunities for learning new things.

    Cons

    Leave system- always on plant shutdown and they are deducting leave. No real employee benefits beside the annual leave and basic medical coverage.

    None. Really nothing is advantage.

    Cons

    No OT pay. Terrible management team. Always have meeting. Force taking leave. HR are not friendly at all.

    Don't do those micro management.
