Great place to work - focused on being a center of excellence for US based PV manufacturing

Sales Management (Current Employee) San Jose, CA

ProsBroad level of responsibility / excellent exec and mid-management team / very talented and competent colleagues, especially the engineers. Excellent customer support across all aspects of the engagements. Broad customer base, keeps things interesting. Award winner: DoE / Sunshot Program

ConsSVTC Technology LLC is the parent company and is not really aligned with the Solar BU. Likely to change in the near future which would be good for the Solar BU.

    Management was lost

Program Manager (Former Employee) San Jose, CA

ProsGood idea to form a company offering fab services. The market potential was great.

ConsManagement didn't know what they were doing. Bunch of people out of Cypress without vision got together to form this sinking ship. No wonder they shut down.

Advice to Senior ManagementLook around how successful companies are run. Should have had a long term focus.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Very Disatisfied

Manager is also contending for your position

Advice to Senior ManagementTry to discuss why people are leaving so frequently.

    Not Rewarding

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsThis is a contract manufacturing company so you see different products. The weight to tasks is moving parts - no more no less.

ConsBeing a contract manufacturer the constraint is cost, and this comes at the expense of efficiency and quality of work and product. Some customers are abusive and management will not preserve your dignity. Environment is not supportive of creative work.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
