    Pros

401K match is okay and the volunteer week each year is nice.

    Cons

Where to start? All good ideas get lost in tiers on tiers on tiers of middle management. Upper management is completely removed from rest of employees and operates like an old boys' club. The office is in the middle of nowhere.

    Advice to Management

    Figure it out?

    Pros

    - Possibility of good supervisor that knows how to listen (1/4 chances)
    - Good salary compared to other jobs in MVD
    - Possibility of car pool
    - Great learning opportunity
    - Experienced mentors who know how to transfer knowledge (1/6 chance)
    - Opportunity to move between departments inside the company in the same country

    Cons

    - Communite can be long (depending where you live and if you can afford a car)
    - Too fast staff turnover
    - Lack of proper or effective guidance once you complete new hire training
    - Too many things are left to personal interpretation
    - Promise of professional growth and promotion dependsa too much on circumstances than actual hard work
    - Hours can be tidious since worktime is 7-24 (depending on the shift you get, which depends on operational needs)
    - Shift-bid happens twicea year, but even then it is not necessary you will have a chance to choose/change your shift (depending on seniority within your tower)

    Advice to Management

Provide solid training which needs to be upgraded on regular basis, listen to your employees, check with the ground staff before making/implementing changes, keep your word and be accountable for your actions (goor or bad).

    Pros

Some departments are very skilled. The insurance is ok. Work from home can be good if you work on the right team

    Cons

The constant threat of layoffs. As an engineer - despite the best efforts and some of the best quality product you can imagine - marketing killed the budget overnight on a three-year project.

The whims of senior management and marketing wreck havoc with the worker bees at Sabre.

    Advice to Management

Far the entire management team and hire people who are ethical, moral and responsible.

Take a page from Google and stop trying to be something you're not.

    Pros

    Fun, friendly, laidback atmosphere,

    Cons

Depending on your manager you won`t have the opportunity for advancement no matter how hard you work.

    Advice to Management

Hire managers that are more experienced in media advertising field.

    Pros

Great people. Sabre recruits smart, hardworking people. There are lots of opportunities for people that work hard and do well. Great leadership.

    Cons

They have a unofficial policy that you must have an MBA to have a Director or higher position. I have never seen an exception to this.

    Advice to Management

Seems there is a belief that education is better or more reliable than experience, but I don't think this is necessarily true.
