Pros – I was an assistant legal analyst on a contract basis. The compensation was fair, especially considering the amount of work we actually did. The office is friendly, the management is always willing to help, and the work environment was positive. I can't speak for other groups like sales, however, who always seemed to be stressed. The product itself is good and it was relatively easy to see how your contributions fit in.

Cons – Very little opportunity for advancement. Management can be aloof in non-HR matters - I think I received feedback once ever on my quality of work. As long as we were doing our job in a measurable way, we were basically left alone and had to guess whether or not we were doing a good job.

Advice to Senior Management – Every employee likes to know how they're doing and if their work is appreciated, even the contract or temporary ones.
