    Pros

The majority of employees are excellent to work with (intelligent, hard working, kind, etc.). Eau Claire is an excellent town to live in with plenty of activities. This hospital has a respectable set of core values.

    Cons

You may find better pay elsewhere. Nurses may be frequently asked to work overtime and may be called often at home to see if they are able to come (although this may be a pro if you are looking for extra money.) The equipment and environment is some areas is outdated.

    Advice to Management

Update the hospital environment. Modify the process for covering when short staffed.

    Pros

Good pay overall. Nice hours, if you are office staff. Nice co-workers.

    Cons

No room for advancement unless you are an RN.

    Advice to Management

People other than RN's make good leaders.

    Pros

Pay is pretty good. Friendly Staff. Positive atmosphere. Family friendly management. Good advancement opportunities for RN's. Management tries to keep staff informed of changes.

    Cons

Basically to get promoted here you have to be a 4 yr RN. If you have experience or educational background in any other area you will not be promoted. You also have to part of the clique.
