Typical restaurant environment & staff. Can be a busy & profitable place to work, but usually not.

I worked at Sagebrush Steakhouse full-time for more than 3 years

ProsGood regular customer base, a few great coworkers, and a very few good managers to work for.

ConsAttracts lots of tourists who are usually poor tippers, a lot of management is inconsistent & not good at their jobs, ridiculous rules for staff in a restaurant

Advice to Senior ManagementPay a decent living wage in order to hire a competent staff. Give promotions based on quality of work, not quantity of time.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Mislead about company stability

I worked at Sagebrush Steakhouse

ProsThe co-workers are fantastic, great talent in this company.

ConsPoor communication, no one wants to make the necessary changes to better the company, they mislead the new hire managers and corporate personnel when onboarding, manegrs are severly overworked and underpaid, lack of support within the organization for resources the managers need to suceed, no direct deposit, benefits are terrible, no 401 k, no raises in the last 7 years, the HR team tries to find ways to dismiss managers who would have otehrwise been laid off just to keep from paying the little two week severence they max out at, the company has had 2 pay cuts in two years, closed several stores, filed bankruptcy, lays off the past 2 years, and demoted managers from hourly to salary- I could go on

Advice to Senior Managementcommunication is key, honesty is key
