    Pros

I have experienced a lot of opportunity for growth in my career as well as support from peers. The opportunity for continued education is supported and encouraged by management and peers.

    Cons

Opportunities for leadership roles seem limited at times. Shared governance is in place however I do not feel that it is allowed to function as intended. This seems to be due to those in leadership roles resisting change.

    Pros

Best co-workers I have ever worked with during my career--helpful, caring and dedicated to patients.

    Cons

Lots of changes made without proper planning or forethought taking place.

    Advice to Management

Get feedback from employees before making changes. You have a lot of educated, insightful people working for you.

    Cons

    Resident Doctors, poor bedside manner.

Patients do not feel comfortable with the amount of gossip and whatnot that circulates the hallways with all staff.

    Pros

hours good if you can work quickly, people are wonderful individuals, Management is quite competent and works in employees' and patients' best interestes.

    Cons

payscale, age of workforce, 24 hour operation, call schedule is deadly number of non-overtime hours, senior workers are not required to take weekend or holiday call. That isn't fair to new, younger employees.

    Advice to Management

Provide hourly wage to social work staff
