    Pros

Excellent retirement plans, okay benefits. They allowed me to leave early many days to complete my degree which was a nice bonus.

    Cons

The school is running out of money quickly and raises are laughable. Those in charge have no understanding of the work that goes on below them nor do they care.

    Advice to Management

Treat the lower employees as if they are actual human beings who need to pay bills and require respect.

    Pros

Most of the employees care about you — it's very much like you are part of a family while working here.

    Cons

Going through a lot of budget issues right now. There's a culture that the board of trustees runs the university, which is wrong.

    Advice to Management

Shared governance is the biggest thing to focus on internally. Externally, we need to identify how we can fit into a culture of community college to traditional university education.
