Former Employee - Account Executive in London, England (UK)

I worked at Salesforce full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Amazing can-do culture with true focus on customer success, clear accountability and transparency on all matters. Everyone who joins is a peak-performer resulting in a high-calibre organisation.

    Cons

intense monthly focus makes longer term planning hard; Not all AE's are given consistent support from Sales Engineering. Attrition of sales staff a concern but seems to be accepted as salesforce.com is a very attractive employer and good name for the CV - there's no shortage of applicants for roles.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

celebrate success more - make sure people who are making progress are recognised as some sales campaigns can be lengthy but unless results are quick, there is a risk that perceptions are they are not being successful.

I have been working at Salesforce full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

The comp is great, and career progression is possible if you hit your targets. The company values around volunteering etc are great. You're given the remit to work as you wish and be accountable for that. The products are really fantastic and customers tend to like you!
