    Pros

    You need to understand coming in that Salesforce only hires the best. This means if you're used to being the top of your department elsewhere, you still can be here, but it will take a lot more effort and perseverance! The staff is friendly and welcoming, the company is willing to invest lots of money into you from your first day to ensure that you have all of the comforts and material that you need in order to do your best work (including supplies, ergonomic desk furniture, refreshments, paid company iPhone, Top-line Macbook Air, cocktail hours and of course their Aloha theme).

    Cons

    The only con I can think of is that this would not be the place to enter if you are looking for a start up. Salesforce is one of the top 6 software companies in the world and it definitely shows. Many new faces appear in the halls every day (some of which are employees who have been there for years that I just haven't encountered yet). This is not necessarily a bad thing, but just something worth mentioning for anyone who expects the tech startup culture.

    Advice to Management

    Continue growing from within and promoting your hardest and most dedicated talent. Continue offering non-stop training and events catered to employees looking to expand their knowledge. Keep up the great work, Salesforce!

    Just a week so far with Salesforce.com and it has been an amazing experience .....the journey has just begun!!! Exciting and a happening company to work for !!

    Pros

    Great company top work for with lots of opportunity for upward mobility. Great perks and benefits as well.

    Cons

    Large company with a lot of moving parts and a little bit of politics. Pretty standard stuff for a growing organization.

    Advice to Management

    Management is extremely focussed on pipeline growth and aids the salespeople to continue growing pipe. My only complaint is that we don't leverage some of the tools we sell to companies.

    Pros

    Culture is great, plenty of smart people and great technology. Learning something new everyday and great sales training.

    Cons

    Low base salaries for the industry and at SMB level can be very tough to find big deals. Not worth the money at this level but good for the experience.

    Advice to Management

    Start paying your employees more to prevent churn. Happy employees yield better results.

    Great people. Will clearly be a fun ride! Can't wait to go to boot camp.

    Cons

    There was no on boarding checklist handed out day 1. I was given an older version from a colleague to use thank goodness. The worst part was the IT process. Most new hires didn't get their laptops on time and the UbiKey process was very confusing / a security overkill. I can't believe I have to have two seperate USB UbiKey's on top of a lengthy password overtime I log into my laptop. Also, having to log a ticket for things like Fax or Concur through the Intranet seems dated. The User Experience is bad. Why is this not through Salesforce.com???

    Advice to Management

    Don't let the first impression be like this. Lucky the company and team as a whole is 2nd to none from what I hear but the first week can / should be better.

    Respect what people have out of the office and they will work harder for you in the office.

    none,,, they had an account that had to new but had no xcue on energy

    Cons

    nobodyknew what they were doing .. from HR to the so called sales manager/supervisors

    Train your people ... Know the Campaign.. stay away from the renewable energy sector !!!
