-Customers generally love the products and service
-Terrific team atmosphere, lots of really talented people to collaborate with
    -Great comp/bennies

    Cons

-Could use a bit more depth in certain areas/verticals
-Workload is not for the faint of heart

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It obviously gets harder and harder to preserve the entrepreneurial flavor of a company as it grows, but it's such a huge advantage. Please continue to nurture it!

I worked at Salesforce full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The company had good office perks; also competitive salary, favorable stock options, good location and bonus structure. The health benefits are amazing.

    Cons

For certain departments, you never really get a break. You're regularly working long hours and weekends. Inefficiency seems to be ingrained in the culture. There are no transit subsidies or sick days.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Change the culture and embrace no longer being a start up.

I have been working at Salesforce full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Innovative and great culture fun place to work. Great teams and high collaboration.

    Cons

Too much freedom to the teams and sometimes may go negative towards the company. Some employees just under perform because of too much freedom.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look after the folks who are working and identify the people not really performing.

I have been working at Salesforce full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The have very good intentions toward employees and often manage to meet those intentions. Top notch company values, they strive to be the best and have generous benefits, nice workspaces (many with standup desks, snacks, etc.)

    Cons

Salesforce is a very fast moving company. You should be comfortable with uncertainty if you work here and the type of person who is willing to dive in and fix a problem when they see it.

    Pros

Smart people who all were trying their best. I was managed very well and had good relationships with most people I worked with.

    Cons

Sales and CEO Centric, so Design got lost in the shuffle. The design organization within Salesforce was under a constant state of flux and reorganization.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give designers a seat at the table, and do more then talk about design leadership and initiative.

I worked at Salesforce full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    rapid-pace
fun product that is even used heavily internally

    Cons

    constant reorganization.
many joke that they are on their 5th manager in 1 year
extremely unprofessional, angry leaders. it's not uncommon to see people "torn apart" in meetings.
it's not uncommon to see highly inebriated leaders at offsites - slurred speech, difficulty standing, speaking openly about other employees they manage to their peers.
there is extremely high turnover, so when you find a great peer group, often the ones you like the most will probably leave. promotions are all about building perception -- not about what you really do.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

you have an extremely toxic environment.
you are not hiring the right leaders.
it's time for new exec leadership -- not people who have been there for 14 years, with no other experience.
you can't see your own problems anymore

I have been working at Salesforce

    Pros

I enjoyed my long run at salesforce.com. I am proud of what we accomplished as an organization and as a market maker.

    Cons

The annual change in brand and value prop is distracting. Customers have a hard time following sfdc's product direction.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

2012 - 2014 saw a major change in access to executive management. C-Level alignment with customers was once a major differentiator.
