I have been working at Salesforce.com as a contractor

    Pros

A big pro is getting time off to do community work in San Francisco. It's highly embraced by the companies culture to volunteer our time. It has a laid back atmosphere. This company is always trying to innovate which leaves a lot of room for growth. No meeting Thursdays is my favorite company practices because it allows me to really focus in on my work.

    Cons

The company is constantly growing and because it's growing so quickly we tend to lose sight of things. Too much going on sometimes serves as a distraction. Either way growth is always a good thing.

I have been working at Salesforce.com full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

We really do work at the most innovative company in the world. Releasing new product updates and buying companies all the time keep us fresh and on our game.

    Cons

The salaries are lower than our competitors, and they shouldn't be the case, given how great everything else is at the company.

I have been working at Salesforce.com full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Winning in the market - continues to grow and win new logos. Philanthropy focus is great. Strong sales culture and machine in commercial business unit.

    Cons

Growing competition in SMB segment. Work life balance. Increasing politics at the top. Culture is being eroded - becoming more like Oracle.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on customers and employees. Customers need to be successful to be references and employees need to be developed.

    I worked at Salesforce.com

    Pros

Compensation and benefits on par. Decent culture. Knows how to keep their #1 spot in the sector and the go-to name in the industry.

    Cons

Not as attractive as other options down in the Valley...just a sign of changing times. Getting bloated. Ego among the senior ranks.

    Pros

Great comp plan, good people and work environment. Good benefits, training and support

    Cons

Aggressive, transactional culture. Great for some personalities, not for everyone. Territories are hit or miss, seasoned reps get best areas, accounts
