I have been working at Sam's Club full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Culture emphasizes member service.

    Cons

Low pay. No cost of living increases are provided.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Some managers are lazy when it comes to assisting associates at times when a salaried member of management is needed. Many are underpaid mad productivity would be better if associates were better compensated. Skilled service associates would be retained instead of resigning for better opportunities.

I have been working at Sam's Club part-time for less than a year

    Pros

    $ 10 an hour
Co worker are kind and helpful people
    Flexible hours
    Free Memebership
Not too hard of a work load

    Cons

Supervisors or COS which are called at Sam's Club, are not all helpful or kind. They show favoritism and it is clearly visible.

Some managers are worst. Rude, unhelpful, and moodly most of the times. Sad to say, but most managers are not trustworthy people.

Avoid the Cashier and Membership positions, which the only position expected to sell membership and credit card. And your job depends on how well you sell.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pros

UNORAGANIZED. often left alone to make pizzas take orders and make orders all at one time. left to clean whole kitchen by myself and expected to stay late to finish.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I have been working at Sam's Club part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

There are different little ways in which the company takes care of their associates (free club membership, discounts on produce year round and discounts on bakery and meat items during the holiday, etc..)

    Cons

Low Pay, difficult to obtain a Full-time position, the expectations of performance and results of work were high and beyond what I made every two weeks.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more considerate of the Associates. They are the people that make your company flourish.

    Great starting company

I worked at Sam's Club full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Exposure to high pace environment. Decent pay and benefits. Great experience for future careers.

    Cons

Your experience will always depend on the management at that particular location. Pay will always be lower than Costco for literally the same exact work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Connect management to employers better. Some management really feels they are at the top of the corporate world, when in reality they are just managers at a warehouse.

I have been working at Sam's Club part-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great company if you are a student, they work with your schedule, if 20 hours a week is all you need, this is the place for you.. They can also work with another job schedule. They start above minimum wage

    Cons

For a person with a family this place will just get food on the table, good look having the roof over your head though.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You work for a great company, tell your higher ups to give you more power to run the place, stop the micromanaging, more hours means more things will get done.
