    Pros

I loved the job it was great, they started me out at an okay pay rate, the hours were even better. Part time but pulled ft hrs and my checks weren't disappointing. I loved the casual non uniform attire, all we had to do was wear our vests and get to working. Everyone was friendly, the customers were great.

    Cons

At this particular Sam's club the employees weren't the happiest with thew work environment due to our pushy and overbearing managers, they ARE supposed to motivate us so that we can make the sales/ upgrades but most members didn't feel like it was necessary to upgrade and play more money when they didn't feel it was right for them. Our managers made it seem like it was our fault and would pretty much threaten our jobs because members were turning us down and the regulars were tired of hearing our offers. They would walk by every now and then to see how we were doing then step in (interrupt ) our line by offering the membership as if they could do a better job and had the magic touch to make them say yes. Needless to say the members turned down the managers offers as well.

    Advice to Management

Relax and let your cashiers do their job! That's why we're hired, you cannot force customers to spend additional money that they don't care to lose for something that isn't necessarily benefitting them. Happy employees=happy customers.
