    I worked at Sam's Club part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Good pay for Some one thats new to the work force and can get good hours really good hours.

    Cons

    Once your out there your stuck out there . Other Cart attendants well call off and or wont come in , huge turn over there well be no chance of going full time , you maybe closing by yourself more often then not , Communication with managers with Cart attendants are horrible they'll tell you something then there actions would show different.

    Advice to Management

    Listen and work with your Cart attendants

    Membership benefits. TIME THE STORE OPENS AND CLOSES

    Cons

    Sometimes had to do other people job when short of staff....mainly being the greeter.

    Advice to Management

    To keep being great supervisors...this job is not easy...a lot of people to attend to.

    Pros

    There's always hours & you can always change your schedule. Annual evaluations which you must get a .20-.60 cent range. Annual cash bonuses.

    Cons

    Always busy. There's children running around. Spills. Tons of go backs. Not enough employees. Always ran out of things.

    Advice to Management

    In order to ensure everyone has a smooth time working there please make sure you have enough employees to do each specific job.

    Management is responsive, training is consistent, rapid advancement possible.

    Cons

    Relatively low pay, repetitive duties, inventory will be deleted which will upset members.

    Advice to Management

    Holding events and incentives was a great way in increasing productivity and morale.

    Pros

    you start to build a re-pore with your customer's

    Cons

    the managers constantly harass the cashiers to try and get the customers to upgrade their membership from regular members to plus members. This is a $60 difference and most people don't go shopping at Sam's with an extra $60 to get an upgrade on their membership. When the customer would refuse the managers would reprimand us

    Advice to Management

    Make better desicions on who you keep as good staff and who you let go or maybe not even let go as much as harass the staff. Goof staff are hard to come by...

    Get to work with customers directly and it helps with your ability to speak with people

    I honestly have no bad things to say about Sam's. I plan to progess into management and further and I am very excited for what is to come.

    Keep doing what you're doing and giving opportunity's to the people that work hard and diserve it.

    Pros

    You can have a flexible schedule rather day or night.

    Cons

    Making sure you focus on member services more than doing your daily task.

    Advice to Management

    More communication and really use the open door policy because some internal members find cost efficient ways to complete task and also have ideas on what would bring in new members
