Comfortable job, pretty good salary. Hard to find 20 words to write in this section, that's why i have to fill randomly.

    Cons

Not much career development, stays pretty stagnant, working on similar things year after year. Not much trust between HR and technical people,

    Advice to Management

Try to listen to the concerns of the employees, trust and quality of work, they are pretty related, and try to be fair to everyone.

    Pros

    1.Free transport facilities
    2.Free fooding(exclusive friday fooding)
    3.Brand value
4.Take brand new and upcoming models to home for a period of time(only in testing depart.)
    5.Employees offers on samsung products
6.Good bonuses and good performance bonuses

    Cons

1.Type of work for testers is only manual testing-checksheet execution
    2.Robotic office timings for testers.
3.Unnecessary late stays and weekend shifts
4.Work culture is like to just catch someone for his mistake.
5.Bad management for models handling, always resource crisis
6.Unnecessary and accessive reporting just because your top management want it
7.No exposure to development as "samsung policy" doesn't allow testers to move to R&D even if you deserve
8.After 4-5 years working as Black box tester it is very much difficult to switch to other company on the same or more package as no other company will pay that much for that kind of experience to any worker

    Advice to Management

Please change standard of work in testing
Focus on work rather than data
Work smart, 100 projects can't be handled at a time
    Bring technical exposure for testers.

    Cons

    Some of Cons:

1.No work life balance when you have projects

2.Quality of work is poor, mostly copy paste.

3.Not good work, issue fixing, no challenging work, regular routine.

4.No management, HR thinks they are running the company.

    5.No focus on work quality.

    6.Creating stressful environment.

7.No need of cream of colleges, the work is such under-rated as per their talent that they leave the job before 1 year.

8.The HR is so dumb that they create policies on a weekly basis just to suck life out of engineers. All the policies implemented seems to have no serious thinking in background. (Example: blocked TimesOfIndia website as a security threat but have github is still running)

9.Koreans don't consider people of Samsung, Noida to be talented.

10.After staying for more than 1 year you are deprived of all the logical thinking and become a machine doing same boring work everyday.

11.There are only two ways for you to be treated as an exceptional employee. First is you should remain at you seat at all times. Second is stay late even if you have no work. I've seen people getting bad ratings just because they didn't stayed late in office and completed all their work before time.

12.The HR is unaware about the problems the engineers (which are the major employees) and recruit people just to increase the number of working people because that is how they think the company prospers. I think the an HR is an HR only if he understands the employee.

13.HR mails everyday to engineers to keep their desks clean and not leave any document unattended but if you ever visit the HR floor then lots and lots of documents are just lying unattended on their desks.

14.The 9 hour inside office rule including the 1 hour out time. They have in their policy that one needs to be inside office for atleast 8hrs and he can use an extra 1hr to go out, if you complete 8 hrs in office then also you are not allowed to leave the office because still 9hrs are left.

15.They have a policy that you can take 2 defs in a month i.e. work less that 9hrs but more than 6hrs in office. For every third def your half-day is cut. Even if you are 1 second later and stay for more than 10hrs in office excluding the 1 hr outside then also they cut your def.

16.The work here is to fix bugs on mobile phones and most of the time whenever there is a bug you can see people searching for the phones for an entire day or he's not able to solve it because the phones are not available in the company in spite of the fact that you have 1000's of bugs for that device coming on a daily basis.

17.The HR recruits you saying that you would be an R&D Engineer and would be working on new ideas but that is not the case. the only work that is done here is bug fixing and that too not severe bugs but rather very low level bugs because Koreans don't consider you to be talented enough for handling them.

    18. You can only service if you are a great boot licker.

    Advice to Management

Just think once why employees are not happy and what is the reason of mass resignation.

Don't make fool by saying that this is R&D centre.
You cannot make anyone work by fear of job security.
    Be employee friendly.
Remember employee productiveness is directly proportionals to his/her satisfaction level/happiness.
Don't think that engineers are fool that they will not understand you intentions behind any policy.
Stop restrictions in the name of security. It is worst.
And last but not least please stop crying every time that you are losing sales of electronics products. Please Hire EDUCATED Managers with proper Degree and skills (Soft and Managerial)
Please listen to employees concern and clean dirty politics.
At least read all Employees feedback written on exit form.
