Pros
You gain exposure to cutting edge technologies sometimes,. Also, the brand name helps in your next job. In certain roles, you can get wide international exposure and go on frequent business trips around the world.
Cons
For foreigners, not much growth options. The options for foreigners in roles in Korea are largely limited because of language and culture. Many Koreans would not be comfortable talking in meetings in Korean leave alone report to a non-Korean manager.
Advice to Senior Management
Improve matters for foreigners or give up hiring foreigners. Even the premium programs like the global strategy group is in a way a failure. You will realize this if you talk to people who have spent 4-5 years there.

Pros
Samsung Austin Semiconductor has a great group of hard working people who make going to work everyday worth while. Good to see a company that can outsource jobs to the USA.
Cons
If you are afraid of hard work or having to put in lots OT at times you may want to find another company to work for.
Advice to Senior Management
Internal software leaves much to be desired, there is a alot of wasted time due to some of the half-bake systems that are pushed out.
