    Good and Bad both

Design Engineer II (Current Employee) Milpitas, CA

    ProsWork place is very competitive.
Manager is very helpful & supportive.
Facility are good like the gym , volleyball court and cafe.
Company is doing great so stock prices are rising rapidly. This gives good returns on ESPP otherwise not much of an advantage for Design Engineer II.

    ConsSalary is too low.
    Work life balance is missing.
    No overtime pay.
    Still using old verification technique.

Advice to Senior ManagementDo something about the salaries of Freshers. And if you want to stick to median pay then give good hike every year.

Male dominated & they hire their friends first

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsThere is some level of work-life balance as long as you are able to either say 'no' or independently establish a comp-time agreement that allows you some flexibility. They actively support volunteer activities, so that is a good point too.

ConsThe culture of nepotism and male domination creates a difficult environment for any woman trying to advance a career here. Be ready to be called "feisty" if you try. What works better is to know someone, rather than spend time working your fingers to the bone only to have them tell you that you are too independent.

Advice to Senior ManagementAs if I could have any advice you would even remotely consider - now that's funny!

    Great people, great company!

Web Production Designer (Former Employee) Milpitas, CA

ProsI really loved being part of a technology proficient team, it was nice to have a team with people at my level of comprehension, learning and teaching.

ConsNot very current equipment and as is the norm w/corporate, purchase orders take FOREVER, like my contract was over before the po even got past it’d first approval....

Advice to Senior Managementwork on your chain of command, I found most everyone to be ABOVE AVERAGE compared to other Bay Area tech employees I’ve worked with. There are too many "choke points” along the ownership/approval chain.
