    Advice to Management

Invest in the people and the people will invest in you. Morale should be higher, it's pretty low.

    Pros

Good work environment, great people, interesting projects.

    Cons

Low pay, no training, quick to layoff as salaries are biggest cost. IT is a second thought and is not leveraged to provide good value so they are always keeping the belt tight.

    Advice to Management

Look at how you might leverage IT to bring more value. Your core business could benefit from the efficiency gains.

    Pros

Good benefits and strong management. I worked there shortly after the union was dissolved and allot of old employees complained that's not how we used to do it.

    Cons

Overstaffed and allot of people did not do their jobs. Could catch production workers sleeping during their shifts.

    Advice to Management

Management is gone now. No advice.

    Pros

Short commute; benefits kick in quickly; food in cafe ok; learn a lot about products and how they are made from a tech standpoint

    Cons

Training was horrible; people are cliquish; human resources only cared about managements standpoints, cared nothing about the employees and the co-workers all had bad dispositions because they all felt overworked and underpaid; all co-workers were very sad everyday and only stayed at the company because of lack of jobs

    Advice to Management

Be fair; train new employees properly; provide a mentor ship program for new employees; speak in the morning, it goes a long way....
