Cambridge Ma

Administrative (Former Employee)
Cambridge, MA

I worked at Sanofi-Aventis full-time for more than 5 years

ProsVery competitive benefits. Salary. Location. Most people are genuine and help to foster an enjoyable working environment.

ConsNo independence. Too much micro-managing which interferes with the ability to do your job. All employees are not treated the same, it depends on who you work for even though there are corporate processes in place for job descriptions, alternate work arrangements, hierarchy etc.

Advice to Senior ManagementShould work to review processes to be more open to a work life balance that the company portrays itself to be.

Horrific to work for

Pharmaceuticals Sales Representative (Former Employee)
Minneapolis, MN

I worked at Sanofi-Aventis full-time for more than 5 years

ProsThe car, can make your own schedule, benefits are good.

ConsHorrible work culture.....set goals that are very difficult to match, as it has become harder and harder to get into hospitals and clinics. They don't care and blatantly ask you to violate laws or do whatever you need to do to get in front of a doc and get the sales. Ethically, it became too much and not worth it to continue there.

Advice to Senior ManagementGet in the field and actually understand the polices and laws in place and rework how sales professionals should conduct their job, as well as new ways to attain the sales goals without compromising a person's ethics and legal implications of unethical practice!
