Pros
What you do is up to you. You make your position, and are given the space to take it forward in your own way. The people who work there, especially in Access, really believe in their work and in what they are doing, and why they are doing it. Pharma has a lot to answer for these days, and while they stand by the industry, they also try to make the industry fairer and more socially responsible. The problem is, they/re not so good at the communication part, neither internally nor as PR...
Cons
There is very litte internal communication despite investment on video messages and the intranet which makes things complicated - feedback, transparency, communication and understanding where certain messages come from..
Advice to Senior Management
Please enhance communcation! Cutbacks are being phased out all over the world in different stages which makes the company as a whole hard to follow and understand...
Pros
Great experience at sanofi professionally and personally
Cons
Limited promotion possibilities given small office ssize
Advice to Senior Management
Increase promotion possibilities
Pros
Sanofi is a leader in the pharmaceutical industry. The benefits package was great. I really enjoyed working with my direct leadership. In the beginning, there was lots of opportunity for growth.
Cons
It seemed a little disorganized, they couldn't stick to one process, everything seemed to change every year. Too many layoffs in the past 5 years, therefore, the morale at the company was slipping because every November everyone was waiting for the next round of layoffs.
Pros
Work life balance is pretty good
Benefits were great
Cons
Upper management not really in touch with what the people in the field need on daily basis.
People promoted more on who they know then what they know
Advice to Senior Management
Listen to field and offer a clear vision on where the company is going
Pros
I was only there for the summer, but it was a great work environment. I was treated very well. The project was simple, but I was given a lot of respect with my ideas.
Cons
The one main thing that was not great was that this particular project did not allow for any room for advancement and was a strictly temporary position.
Advice to Senior Management
Even though my time there was brief, my supervisors were both kind and supportive, and the work that needed to get done was also always completed successfully.
Pros
pay benefits work life balance
Cons
managers had no accountability
reactive and not proactive
Advice to Senior Management
get some leadership skill and take ownership of decisions made by higher ups

Advice to Senior Management
good company should increase salary as per the market need it is very impotent . they should increase salary . a good name but low packer
Pros
Decent benefits
Training is ok
Work life balance is just OK
Cons
Horrible morale
EXTREMELY incompetent senior management
Poor decision making
Treat people very poorly
Advice to Senior Management
You need to begin treating people as human beings. There is absolutely no regard for personnel. I have made it through "all of the cuts" and I am still looking to leave. Stop lying to employees. Was told at the beginning of 2011 that there were "tons of opportunity" at the end of this year and that all of the cuts were over. The only opportunity that was available was voluntary severance. STAY AWAY...FAR AWAY. If you want to see for yourself, you can have my job when I leave!!!
Pros
Professional, hard-working and well trained staff, good benefits
Cons
The company needed to change but sadly the transforming process has resulted in uncertainty and stress and working relationships have deteriorated
Advice to Senior Management
Be careful not to lose the people and values that enabled the company to grow and be successful in the first place in the relentless pursuit of the goal to be number one...
Pros
good benefits and vacation time off, generous with 401k and medical benefits, company care and other benefits in line with pharma industry
Cons
management is not aware of the market place and products that sanofi-aventis is putting out in the market, very little support from upper management.
Advice to Senior Management
senior management is clueless to what is going on in the market both nationally and at the street level, the ship is sinking and management isn't even concerned
