    I worked at Sanofi-Aventis full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

I learned so much in the 18 years I spent with this company. There were so many great mentors that I was lucky enough to work with. Great products too.

    Cons

The usual big company issues:politics, sometimes impersonal but the pros of a big company far outweigh the cons.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep the good people close and continue to develop them because that will always trickle down!

I worked at Sanofi-Aventis as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

Having 2 in-house eateries, a Walgreen's pharmacy and even a health clinic all on campus made working here very convenient. I worked in IT support and the vast majority of callers were pleasant and appreciative of the assistance I offered.

    Cons

Office culture could be very difficult to deal with unless you simply ignore it. Doing so will give you some peace but will also cut you off from most if not all chances for advancement.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I was a contractor, not a direct employee and so was subject to a different set of rules that many of my colleagues.
