    Pros

Generally the people in Sanofi are good to work with. There are a few exceptions and unfortunately they are in higher positions and cause inconvenience to others.
Health insurance is of high quality.
End of service payments are good.

    Cons

There management in Sanofi is highly driven by internal politics rather than business interest and productivity.
Salaries could be improved significantly to compete with other large companies.

    Advice to Management

Make sure that promotions are based on the more qualified people rather than those who play the politics without productivity.

    Pros

Opportunities for advancement were excellent. The people who worked for s-a were outstanding. You were able to to develop and execute your own tailored business plan w/in the hospital and specialty teams. Training & development was always very good. Overall, a great place to have a career.

    Cons

Prior to leaving the company, it felt like the company was moving towards a "top-down" approach where strategies were being forced onto the sales force across the country; there was less flexibility to adapt strategies to meet the needs of your local market.

    Pros

benefits are among the best in the industry - 401K, pensions, health insurance, and vacation

    Cons

pay is not the highest in the world of big pharma, going more to a contract workforce in the last 5 years so it is different than before as far as culture and harder to get a permanent position

    Advice to Management

not to reorganize territories so often - not good for consistency
