I have been working at Sanofi-Aventis full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

I am able to work from home once a week. I get an annual bonus based on performance. They offer great benefits such as ample vacation time.

    Cons

There are no opportunities for professional development or promotions and very little job movement. It is difficult to move into another department if you'd like to gain experience.

    I worked at Sanofi-Aventis full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The car, can make your own schedule, benefits are good.

    Cons

Horrible work culture.....set goals that are very difficult to match, as it has become harder and harder to get into hospitals and clinics. They don't care and blatantly ask you to violate laws or do whatever you need to do to get in front of a doc and get the sales. Ethically, it became too much and not worth it to continue there.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get in the field and actually understand the polices and laws in place and rework how sales professionals should conduct their job, as well as new ways to attain the sales goals without compromising a person's ethics and legal implications of unethical practice!

I have been working at Sanofi-Aventis full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Excellent benefits, good culture.
    Generally treat employees well.
    Fair compensation.

    Cons

    Inexperienced / untrained middle managers.
Company grows by aquisition and are not good at integrating aquired companies.
Convoluted internal processes make even simple tasks slow and difficult.
Contracts out many positions. Contractors are treated like second class citizens even though they are doing critical work and often outperfoming employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Strengthen middle management. Do some house keeping. There is a lot of dead wood.
Strive to simplify and streamline internal processes and procedures.
